1. Exlain your relationship status:
[will have been living with the Ej for a year soon, in a relationship for 16 months (this week). my longest ever, actually]

3. What time did you get up this morning?
[10:03. i've got to move my bedside table and start setting my alarm so i can get up early and greet the day with some stretching and a walk before the man even gets up for work. no more sleeping in after he leaves! i miss mornings]
4. What did you wear today?
[well, soccer shorts and a bra tank so far. but i probably won't jazz it up much to leave the house in an hour, either]
5. Do you wear contact lenses or glasses?
nope
[this is still true! i've got great vision and i feel so lucky to have it. especially because i've got a ton of almost-legally-blind folks around me]
6. How many windows are open on your computer?
[5. rockmelt, aim (haha yea, i still use this, but primarly because i always close my gmail tab mid-gchat), picasa, picture folder of things for the blog, and notepad (which i consider one of the greatest, most under utilized programs in windows)]
7. What are you doing after this?
[heading up to my mom & dad's to do some laundry (we have a machine downstairs, but it's small and costs $2+ every load), dump some clutter in their basement, and sit on the porch in this spectacular weather to edit pictures (i'm backlogged since mid-april)]
8. Where did you get the shirt you are wearing?
[it's just a long light blue bra tank from h&m]
9. Do you like to cuddle?
yes
[true! doubt that'll ever change]
10. How tall are you?
5'10"

11. Which one of your cousins is closest to you in age?
ed is 3 months older than me

[weird. the answer's still true -- but i can't exactly figure out who i liked then if his name didn't start with k. i wish i had a diary to consult.. but maybe the rest of this quiz will shed some light...]

[absolutely]

not really, but i'm not quiet
[i'd say this answer is still true, but my younger sister would definitely claim i'm loud. my laugh does echo through some rooms...]
15. What is one thing you would love to happen tomorrow?
[i would love to go hiking, up into the mountains, explore cold spring, or maybe to the woodstock museum.. just anywhere for a drive and quiet time away from the computer, the tv, and cell service.]
16. Have you ever had a crush on your siblings friend?
[i don't remember who this was or when! but right now, no, i don't have one]
17. Does it matter to you if your bf/gf smokes?
i'd prefer a smoker, cause i do
[i wish we'd both quit!]

it is blonde
[but i've been toying with the idea of super-duper white blonde hair for a while]

no, but i believe you can learn how to make the other person as happy as you're capable of

no
[still true, i don't believe in regretting. everything that's happened has taught me something, whether or not the lesson was rough to get through is another story. but lessons none the less!]
21. Is it hard leaving people behind?
yes
[of course it's difficult but sometimes it's hard to keep lives aligned when paths diverge]
22. What are you excited for?
[camping upstate next weekend for dave matthews]
23. How's your life lately?
[a little boring and poor since i haven't been to work since the end of november. but i've also been stressing myself out with this blog and pictures and social media! so... quiet, but scatterbrained, i'd say]
24. If the year consisted of only one season, which would you choose?
[this year spring overtook winter too much for my liking. i missed the snow so badly]
25. Do you hate being alone?
[i generally thrive when i don't have to worry about what other people want to do. call me selfish, but creating my own plans and being able to follow through with them on my own time, in my own manner is one of my favorites. hence my love of solo travel]
26. Are you comfortable with answering personal questions?
always
[i actually wish people would ask me personal questions more often. they're a sort of devil's advocate litmus test of what's really going on in my head.]
27. Would you consider yourself to be spoiled?
[well, not so much anymore as in the past, but i'm definitely thankful for the niceties my parents gave me growing up, and through college. ie: i-have-no-student-loans-thankful]
28. Do you play an instrument?
no
[still true, but i bought a guitar in march of '03, and started to learn to play like normal righty people do. well, i started to learn that way anyway, and never ever got very far. i'm a lefty, and could never find any rhythm strumming with my right hand. just last week we discussed flipping the guitar/strings so i can try it out lefty. 9 years later, i finally have some hope that i'll be able to get the hang of it!]
29. In the next 4 months, what are you looking forward to most?
[camping, the desert road trip i've been scheming for early fall, lake george, any time i'll get to spend outdoors!]
I hope everyone's having a great weekend so far! Today we had an impromtu adventure in Rye with stops at Playland, Dockside, and the Marshlands Conservancy. It was such a spectacular day that I needed the sun on my skin! And can you believe it? I left my camera home for a change. Sometimes it's nice to just enjoy a day without it and really soak it up.
Right now, we're watching Thor (he's hot). Hopefully we'll get to bed shortly after the movie -- tomorrow's the return of the farmer's market in town, along with a busy day of camp gear gathering, Sunday dinner, and pooch photography. Can't wait!
